Founded in 1963, Seattle Opera is one of the leading opera companies in the United States. Previously the building was Seattles Civic Auditorium and is now the Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. In 2019, Lyric’s larger-than-life new production and company premiere of West Side Story took Chicago by storm with sold-out performances.
